Pre-learn before PreSchool

Thank you to Noggin for supporting this post.

Oh, my Goodness! I can’t believe I have two little girls starting school already! Noggin has been such a blessing these past few months.

These last few months I have been so overwhelmed. We geared up for the girls to start school and I just didn’t know what it would actually be like. On their first day, I was so worried I would fully cry and melt down and miss them throughout the day but, honestly, I didn’t. I felt so proud of them because I knew I spent the majority of the year “training them up in the way they should go.” If you’ve been following us along on this journey, you know that Noggin has been my saving grace this year.

In case you’re new, I’m a full-time business owner, wife, and stay at home mom. It can really be a challenge to balance the three if you aren’t fully equipped with the right things that make the transitions and days easier. Before using Noggin, I was looking for something that could help the kids when it was their time to transition to school. Now, I’m so glad I found it. Noggin has helped us so much with going back to school because we can use it throughout the day. Every morning I set them up at the table with their Noggin App. They sit independently and learn with their favorite characters while I prep their lunch and pack their bookbags for the day. Personally, I love it because I can truly focus on making sure they aren’t missing anything for the school day, and not have to hover over them as I know they are independently learning.

Noggin is my go-to because it has everything I could want in one app. They can play games, learn with different characters, and watch shows that teach them about chemistry, arts and crafts and real-world things AND can even help the kids read. I have watched the girls grow overnight! Sometimes Tre and I are left standing like…where did they learn this from? For example, I’ve seen the girls play Hide ‘N Seek - it’s something we are all used to and know but I personally didn’t teach them the game. They learned through the Peppa Pig Interactive Hide ‘N Seek game and started playing it outside. The primary skill for this game is Math, Geometry, Spatial Relations, and teaches the kids how to Understand directional concepts. Moments like that truly show me just how much they are absorbing. I’m so proud of them!

The fun doesn’t stop in the morning - we even use Noggin on our car rides. Because they learn so much, I feel less guilty about screen time. They can learn and be occupied while we are transporting them to and from home safely. That’s what I want you guys to understand and take away from this: Noggin is one of the best decisions I've made time and time again. You can’t go wrong by giving it a try! I recommend trying out a 30 day free trial and see how it goes from there. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Xoxo, the patient mama
